 Born in Hokkaido in 1975. After graduating from a local university with a law degree, he worked for a trading company specializing in photography, and then moved to a pharmaceutical company. After being transferred to Niigata and getting married, he joined Otani Co. in 2015. Utilizing his previous experience, he was involved in new businesses, including the launch of a home nursing station in Saitama Prefecture.In 2019, he established “Niigata Small-Scale Distillery Co.” and started producing whiskey.
